On January 13, 2013, Frank Davis, a 40-year-old resident of Memphis, Tennessee, was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported Davis to Regional One Health in critical condition, but despite the efforts of the medical team, he succumbed to his injuries. His death added to the growing number of homicides that Memphis had been grappling with during that time.
