On March 31, 2014, Christopher Adair, age 28, was shot and killed in a drive-by shooting in Memphis, Tennessee. The shooting occurred near the intersection of Knight and Winchester. Adair was among the victims in what was described as a gang-related incident that also injured a 23-year-old man. In the aftermath of the shooting, teddy bears and flowers were left at the scene as a memorial for Adair.
