On August 29, 2017, 25-year-old Ladarius Wright and his wife, Venus Wright, were found dead at the Crossland Economy Studios hotel in Memphis, Tennessee. The couple was discovered at around 12:30 p.m. in a hotel room, both having suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Authorities classified it as a double homicide, and the investigation remains ongoing.
