In a Memphis hotel room on August 29, 2017, the lives of 25-year-old Ladarius Wright and his wife, Venus Wright, were tragically cut short. The couple was discovered at approximately 12:30 p.m. inside their room at the Crossland Economy Studios located at 5885 Shelby Oaks. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds in what the Memphis Police Department is investigating as a double homicide.
