Marcel Tate, a 26-year-old male from Memphis, Tennessee, was found dead in his car on November 22, 2016. The tragic discovery was made by his grandmother in the early morning hours, around 6:30 a.m., in the 1000 block of Rosewood in South Memphis. Tate was found in the driver’s seat of his vehicle, with the engine still running and the doors locked. Authorities determined that he had suffered a single gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
