On April 19, 2008, Terron Epps, age 20, was fatally shot in Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 6:11 p.m. at the intersection of 57th Street and Haverford Avenue in West Philadelphia. Epps, a resident of Upper Darby, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead shortly afterward at 6:29 p.m. at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
