Jahlil Garrett, a 19-year-old, was tragically killed on May 5, 2008, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The incident occurred on the 300 block of North 62nd Street. Jahlil was one of several victims during a particularly violent time for the city. On the same day and at the same location, another 19-year-old victim, Jovan Bradley-Dixo, also lost his life.
