On September 8, 2022, at approximately 8:58 p.m., in the Overbrook section of the city, Bradley was on the 6200 block of
Lebanon Avenue when he was shot multiple times. When Philadelphia Police officers arrived at the scene, they found him lying in the street. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. At the time of the shooting, he was reportedly carrying groceries for his family.
In the wake of his death, family members described Bradley as an innocent man who was not involved in street life and was dedicated to his family. He was remembered as a caring and kind individual who worked two jobs to provide for his loved ones. His death was lamented by his family as a senseless act of gun violence, possibly a case of mistaken identity.
As of now, the murder of Quenzell Bradley remains unsolved.
