In the late hours of a Monday night in Philadelphia, the life of 29-year-old Lamar Muldrow was brought to a violent and tragic end. On April 29, 2013, in the Mayfair neighborhood, Muldrow was fatally shot in what law enforcement believes was a home invasion and robbery attempt. The male victim sustained gunshot wounds to his chest and hip.
The incident unfolded on the 5700 block of Leonard Street. According to police reports, several armed men attempted to force their way into a residence. A struggle ensued at the doorway with a woman who answered the door. When Muldrow intervened to protect his home and family, the intruders opened fire.
