On June 26, 2024, 18-year-old Isidro Zuniga was fatally shot in the Summerdale neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia. The incident occurred around 5:41 p.m. near the intersection of Foulkrod and Langdon Streets. Philadelphia Police responded to reports of gunfire and found Zuniga lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body. He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 6 p.m.
