Malik James Reed, age 21, was fatally shot on January 10, 2014, on the 3100 block of North 33rd Street in Philadelphia. At approximately 7:58 p.m., Philadelphia Police responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found Reed suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported in a patrol vehicle to Temple University Hospital for emergency medical care. Despite efforts by the medical staff, Malik Reed succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
Malik Reed was a resident of the 3100 block of West Allegheny Avenue. His case remains unsolved, and authorities are appealing to the public for any information that might help bring those responsible for this crime to justice.
