Darrell Thompson, a 53-year-old man, was found dead on July 8, 2015, in his residence located on the 6500 block of West Girard Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Authorities responded to the scene at around 7:28 p.m., where Thompson was discovered lying on the floor of his living room. Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene. The cause of death was determined to be strangulation, and the motive behind this tragic incident is believed to be robbery.
