In the Grays Ferry neighborhood of Philadelphia, on the evening of February 8, 2021, a 15-year-old male named Darius Winters was fatally shot. He was sitting outside with a group of other teenagers on the 1700 block of South Hollywood Street shortly before 8 p.m. when a car approached them. A gunman from within the vehicle opened fire, striking Winters multiple times.

Despite the hail of bullets, none of the other teenagers with him were injured. Tragically, Winters succumbed to his injur ...
