On a summer evening in Philadelphia, the life of 16-year-old Symir Walker was tragically cut short. The male teenager had spent the night of June 15, 2018, doing what he loved most: playing basketball at the Palumbo Recreation Center in the Hawthorne section of South Philadelphia.
