Anthony Caliz, a 19-year-old Hispanic male, tragically lost his life on August 29, 2021, in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood. He was shot twice, once in the head and once in the chest, and was transported to Temple University Hospital-Episcopal campus by a private vehicle, where he was pronounced dead. Despite efforts by medical personnel to save his life, Anthony succumbed to his injuries that afternoon.
The incident occurred on the 3000 block of North Ella Street just after 4 p.m.
