In the early morning hours of August 6, 2020, tragedy struck in the Woodhaven neighborhood of Queens, New York, forever altering the lives of a family who had sought refuge in the United States from war-torn Bosnia. Sanel Music, a 21-year-old male, was the victim of a fatal drive-by shooting. He was sitting in the driver's seat of his father's Mercedes Benz SUV at the intersection of 91st Street and 85th Avenue around 4:30 a.m., talking with a 19-year-old friend.
