In the summer of 2016, a life was tragically cut short on the streets of Philadelphia. On the afternoon of August 12th, Ruben Arroyo, a 52-year-old Hispanic male, was found lying on the 2300 block of North 2nd Street with multiple gunshot wounds. The call came in to police at approximately 2:04 p.m., reporting a person down. Officers arrived to a grim scene, and Mr. Arroyo was quickly transported by medical personnel to Temple University Hospital. Despite the efforts to save him, he succumbed to ...
