In the early morning hours of Wednesday, December 14, 2016, the life of Jonathan Arroyo, a 30-year-old Hispanic male, was tragically cut short on a Philadelphia street. At approximately 12:41 a.m., Philadelphia Police officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Adams Avenue where they discovered Mr. Arroyo lying in the street. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body.
Emergency medical personnel from the Philadelphia Fire Department arrived at the scene and, after assessing
his condition, pronounced him deceased. Jonathan Arroyo, a resident of the 2800 block of North Hope Street, became another victim of the city's gun violence.
To date, the murder of Jonathan Arroyo remains unsolved. The Philadelphia Police Department continues to investigate the homicide and has appealed to the public for any information that might lead to the apprehension of the individual or individuals responsible for his death. No suspects have been publicly identified, and no arrests have been made in connection with this case.
