On January 15, 2017, Ahmad Foreman, 18, was fatally shot in Pittsburgh's Garfield neighborhood. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on the 500 block of Fannel Street, where police responded to a ShotSpotter alert indicating multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, officers found Foreman with several gunshot wounds; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
