On a Saturday morning in Pittsburgh's East Hills neighborhood, a domestic dispute turned fatal, claiming the life of 30-year-old Antoine Lee Williams Jr. The incident, which unfolded on November 4, 2023, on Park Hill Drive, escalated from a physical altercation to a deadly shooting.
The conflict reportedly began inside an apartment between Williams and a woman, Charlotte Hill.
The argument then moved outside, where Hill is said to have fired several shots at Williams from a distance, striking him multiple times. Emergency services were called to the scene around 11:30 a.m. following reports of the shooting, but Williams succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the shooting, Hill engaged in a brief standoff with police before she was taken into custody. Authorities have charged her with criminal homicide. Investigations revealed a history of domestic violence associated with the residence, including a prior domestic violence arrest for the male victim a couple of months before the fatal incident. Hill was subsequently lodged in the Allegheny County Jail to await a preliminary hearing and was denied bail. In addition to criminal homicide, she faces charges of intimidation of a witness or victim and terroristic threats, as it is alleged she threatened a witness after the shooting.
