On July 2, 2008, 28-year-old Tiffany Lomax was tragically shot and killed while sitting in a car on River Street in Mattapan, Boston. At the time, she was with an alleged gang associate, although she was not involved in gang activity herself. Lomax was shot in the chest and succumbed to her injuries, leaving behind two children—a 9-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter.
