In the early morning hours of September 9, 2023, the life of Princess Ivon Charles, a 29-year-old Black/African American woman from Quincy, Massachusetts, was tragically cut short. On Greenock Street in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, she was found suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency services transported her to a local hospital, but she succumbed to her injuries. Another individual was also shot during the incident but sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
