Death by Force

On March 30, 2022, 15-year-old African American male, Dayvon "Day Day" Vickers, was fatally shot in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood. Around 6 p.m., while riding his mini-bike near the intersection of North Homewood and Frankstown avenues, Dayvon was struck in the head by gunfire. Emergency responders transported him to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
