On October 13, 1970, Frank Fletcher was found murdered in his residence located at 612 E. Easton Street in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Fletcher and his common-law wife lived above Fletcher's Bar, a business he owned and operated. The night before, on October 12, he was last seen running the bar with several patrons present. In the early hours of October 13, around 1 a.m., his wife went downstairs and discovered his body. He had been brutally beaten and succumbed to his injuries.
