Margaret Kay Kearney Pope, aged 59, was found dead in her Tulsa home on May 26, 2007. Initially, when Margaret's body was discovered by a relative, there were no obvious signs of foul play. However, the state Medical Examiner later determined that she had been strangled and had also suffered sexual assault. This shifted the nature of her death from a possible natural occurrence to a confirmed homicide.
