On November 17, 1981, Patricia Palmer, a 19-year-old woman from Tulsa, Oklahoma, was murdered while attempting to sell her wedding dress. Patricia had placed an advertisement in the Tulsa World newspaper to sell the dress, and arranged to show it at her mother’s residence, located at 4127 S. Sandusky Avenue. Between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., she was observed showing the dress to a man on the front porch of the home.
