On September 4, 1991, Mary Ruth Alexander-Motte, age 48, was found murdered in her home at 5119 N. Frankfort in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Tulsa Fire Department initially responded to a call about a house fire, but upon entry, they found Mary on the floor of her home. She had sustained five stab wounds, blunt force trauma to her head, and was found with a bloody pillowcase over her head.
