On October 8, 2014, 24-year-old Christian Shockley was shot and killed outside her apartment at the Colonial Park Apartments in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The suspect, Erik Sherney Williams, was her ex-boyfriend, and the shooting occurred shortly after she had ended their relationship. Witnesses reported that Williams drove to the apartment complex, got out of his truck, and fatally shot Shockley before fleeing the scene.
