In the early morning hours of October 28, 1997, a sense of quiet rested over the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Twelve-year-old Samantha Zayzay, a young girl with her whole life ahead of her, was asleep in her bed, cocooned in the perceived safety of her own home.
