In the summer of 1994, a tragedy unfolded in Tulsa, Oklahoma, that would leave a family grieving and a community with unanswered questions. On July 30th of that year, the body of a 32-year-old woman, Erma Jean Goodou, was discovered inside her residence at 820 E. 51st Place North. The scene told a grim story of violence; an investigation would later reveal that she had suffered from a stab wound and blunt force trauma, injuries that ultimately led to her death.
