Do you know who murdered Melissa Dake? On a cold November evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the lives of several people were irrevocably shattered. Inside a home on North New Haven Avenue on November 23, 2013, a gathering turned into a scene of unimaginable violence. Melissa Dake, a 35-year-old female, was present in the house along with her husband, Charlie Dake Jr., and several others. Suddenly, a gunman entered the residence and opened fire, forever altering the course of many lives.
The brutal attack left four people dead,
including Melissa and her husband. The other victims were identified as 54-year-old Glenda Harper and 46-year-old Tammy Brunson. A fifth individual was also shot but miraculously survived the onslaught. In a small mercy, several children who were also in the home at the time of the shooting were physically unharmed. The shooter or shooters fled the scene, leaving behind a horrific tableau for authorities to discover. Two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, while two others, including Melissa, succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
