In the autumn of 1990, the life of a 15-year-old girl, Latrice Nicole Miller, was tragically cut short in Tulsa, Oklahoma. An African-American female, Latrice's body was discovered on October 28, 1990, under a bridge at Haikey Creek, located at approximately 9200 S. Mingo Road. The grim discovery was made by a 10-year-old boy who was walking to a friend's house. The cause of her death was determined to be a gunshot wound to the head.
