On a fall evening in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a dispute between a woman and her boyfriend took a tragic and fatal turn. Forty-year-old Linda Sue Kozushko had been in a vehicle with her boyfriend on October 17, 1992, when an argument erupted between them. The disagreement prompted Kozushko to exit the vehicle at 1600 S. 177th E. Avenue and begin walking north along the east side of the street.
