On October 14, 2010, 32-year-old Damesha Lee (also known as Damesha Hunter) was found shot to death inside her home at 7108 E. Newton Place in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There were no signs of forced entry, and she had been on the phone with her husband, Laroye Hunter III, when the shooting occurred. According to Laroye, Damesha had interrupted their conversation to answer a knock at the door but never returned. When Laroye came home, he discovered her body.
