On January 20, 1999, Freda Ingrid Johnson was found murdered in her Tulsa home. Freda, 34 years old, had been shot and was found bound with a telephone cord in her living room. Her husband, who discovered the scene, reported hearing gunshots as he arrived home and entered the house. Their four-year-old son was found hiding under a bed, unharmed but traumatized by the incident.
