On February 22, 1988, the body of 52-year-old Dorcas Sue Hilton was discovered in the Arkansas River near the 3100 block of South Riverside Drive in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She had been tied up and sustained fatal blunt force trauma. Hilton, who was homeless, often stayed in various shelters and lived beneath a nearby bridge. She was last seen alive between noon and 2 p.m. on the day of her murder, and her body was found among the rocks at the riverbank later that evening.
