On July 24, 2023, 20-year-old Annaway Denise Mackey was tragically killed in a shooting at the Wood Creek Apartments in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The incident also claimed the lives of 38-year-old Ashley Atwell and 19-year-old Sarah Gonzales, and resulted in critical injuries to Atwell's infant son.
