In the winter of 1992, concern mounted for 41-year-old Laverne Etta Norman when she didn't arrive for her shift at the 61st Street Beauty Salon in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A co-worker, unable to reach her, went to her apartment on February 10th to check on her. What they discovered was a scene of violence that had ended a life.
