Murdered

On October 5, 2008, 41-year-old Billy Ray Ryder was shot and killed in his Tulsa apartment at the Candy Arms complex. The incident occurred when two unidentified males attempted to force their way into Ryder’s apartment, demanding money. As Ryder tried to prevent them from entering, they shot him. He was transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries later that day.
