On September 13, 2016, 29-year-old Anthony Penn was shot and killed in Oklahoma City in the 8900 block of N. Hudson Avenue. The incident took place as Penn was walking down the street, reportedly on his way to visit a family friend. According to police, the shooting occurred in broad daylight, leaving Penn fatally injured in the middle of the street.
