BIRMINGHAM - AL — Birmingham Police detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred late Friday night. Officers responded to a report of a person shot at 1420 44th Street Ensley around 11:50 p.m. Once they arrived, they discovered Tyrel Peoples, 19 of Birmingham, shot inside a Dodge Avenger. Peoples was transported to UAB where he later died.
