On May 26, 2017, 26-year-old Drakkar Fontez Avery Christian was fatally shot in the backyard of a residence on Monticello Road in Irondale, Alabama. The incident stemmed from a confrontation initiated by 32-year-old Brodrick Lewayne Morgan, who mistakenly believed that Christian was romantically involved with the mother of his child.
