The victim in Birmingham's latest shooting incident has been identified as 42-year-old Desean Grice. Grice, a Birmingham resident, had moved from Detroit approximately one year ago, said Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Bill Yates.

At approximately 12:50 a.m. this morning, South Precinct officers responded to a call of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers found Grice suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead at the scene.
