In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Indianapolis, a sequence of events unfolded that would end in the tragic death of 34-year-old Vincent Patrick Collier. On August 16, 2026, officers with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were dispatched to the 200 block of S. LaSalle Street on the city's near east side.
