On a spring evening in Indianapolis, the life of 30-year-old Charles Anthony Turner Jr. came to a tragic and abrupt end. On April 16, 2016, Turner was found shot to death in the street on the northeast side of the city, a discovery that launched a protracted homicide investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
