Mario Albert Martinez, a 55-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically died on January 3, 2014, in San Antonio, Texas. He was shot while watching TV in his home on the night of the incident. The shooting occurred in the 4600 block of Howard Street, and Martinez was struck in the abdomen and chest. He was taken to University Hospital but was pronounced dead early the next morning.
