On November 2, 2023, at approximately 8:30 p.m., 29-year-old Hyman Ira Lopez Jr. was found fatally shot behind the Sunshine Laundry located at 1030 Culebra Road in San Antonio, Texas. Responding officers from the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) discovered Lopez with a gunshot wound to the head; he was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical services.
