In the early morning hours of July 18, 2026, the life of 19-year-old Haywood Trisby was tragically cut short in a shooting near Memorial Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Police responded to reports of shots fired on South Hancock Avenue at approximately 2:30 a.m. and discovered Trisby deceased inside a car in a parking lot. The El Paso County Coroner's Office later confirmed his identity. The incident was the 10th homicide in Colorado Springs that year.
