On February 6, 2015, 25-year-old Terrence D. Harwell, a Fort Campbell soldier, was tragically killed in a shooting outside The Lodge nightclub in Clarksville, Tennessee. Harwell, who was an innocent bystander, was shot in the head while trying to defuse a situation in the parking lot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect in Harwell's murder, Cornell Hurley Jr., also a Fort Campbell soldier, was arrested and charged with criminal homicide. Hurley allegedly went back to his car
