In a quiet Jonesboro neighborhood, the evening of June 29, 2026, was shattered by violence that claimed the life of 17-year-old Fernando Chacon Santana. A student at Mundy's Mill High School, Fernando was known for his artistic talent, occasionally designing tattoos for people. That night, however, his life was cut short by a gunshot wound in what Clayton County Police are investigating as a homicide.
