Just after 3 a.m. on May 21, 2025, Jaden Pierce, age 22 and male, was fatally shot in the parking lot of Skyboxx ATL, a nightclub and sports bar at 2180 Mount Zion Parkway in the Jonesboro area of Clayton County, Georgia. An obituary later confirmed that services for Jaden DeShaun Pierce of Jonesboro were held in early June, fixing the date of his passing as May 21, 2025.
